Environmental Stewardship in Action: Beach Cleanup by St. Anthony’s School

On 9th September, the Guide students of St. Anthony's School took part in a beach cleanup drive at Girgaon Chowpatty. The event was organized under the guidance of our respected Principal, Sr. Suman Minezes.

The group set out from school in the morning and returned by noon after a successful and fulfilling day of service. Accompanying the students were several teachers and PTA members, who also actively participated in the cleanup efforts.

The students, teachers, and PTA members showed great enthusiasm and dedication as they worked hard to remove large amounts of waste from the beach, contributing significantly to a cleaner environment. Their efforts were not only impactful but also appreciated by D-Ward officials and police personnel present at the site, who commended the students for their commitment and teamwork.

This initiative was a wonderful example of the school community coming together to promote responsibility, environmental care, and active citizenship.
