Kindergarten Sports Day
2023-24 at our school was a spectacular event envisioned by our esteemed
Principal, Sr. Suman Minezes. With a dedicated focus on our tiny tots, the
sports day took place in the school compound, creating an atmosphere of
excitement and joy among parents who eagerly anticipated witnessing their
children participate in various events. Every student from Nursery to Upper
K.G. actively participated in at least one event, ensuring maximum involvement
from the young learners.
The event unfolded on the
20th of January 2024, commencing with a delightful March Past that filled the
air with the infectious energy of the cute little participants marching to the
beat of lively music. Sr. Maria, our School Accountant and a devoted lover of
children, presided over the event as the Chief Guest, declaring the meet open.
The presence of other Sr.s from the community added to the liveliness of the
occasion. Shaikh Juveria, a student, led the prayer and welcomed Sr. Maria with
a sapling, setting a positive tone for the day.
The program featured
impressive Drill displays, including one with pompoms and the flower drill,
captivating the audience with the students' synchronized movements. The Running
races, divided into class divisions with heats and finals, showcased the enthusiasm
and spirit of the young participants. Fun races such as passing through the
ring, obstacle race, off to school, and ready for market added an extra layer
of excitement. The Parents game, conducted for added enjoyment, brought
laughter and joy, and prizes were awarded to the enthusiastic participants.
The hard work of the
dedicated Kindergarten teachers was evident in the flawless performances, and
Sr. Suman expressed gratitude to the entire K.G. staff, non-teaching staff,
secondary P.T. master Sir Sevin, primary teachers, and co-workers for their collective
effort in making the day a resounding success. The prize distribution ceremony
brought the event to a close, with medal and certificate winners felicitated by
the chief guest and the Sr.s of the community, celebrating the achievements of
our budding athletes."
